It flies by and the action is very much eventful and rarely repetitive, plus it doesn't feel anywhere near as much of a Hodge Podge of tired ideas like a few of the recent 'Barbie' films have been.
Characters, even with the lack of depth, are engaging and carry the film well. Barbie is likable and resourceful as ever, serving as a good role model for young girls especially, and the puppies are adorable with a capital A.
The chemistry between the characters is great too, as is the positive messaging that was delivered with the right amount of making-its-point and subtlety.
Voice acting is pretty good and done with a lot of spirit. Cannot imagine Barbie without Kelly Sheridan the 'Barbie' films without her did suffer from her absence on top of even bigger problems and she continues to grow.

This is the kind of movie that makes you smile. Full of positive energy and lovely animations. With an uncomplicated but complete storyline, it's easy for children to understand the main idea of the movie.
Though some parts of it is kinda awkward and a little bit silly, but it's one of the best choices for kids. Even though I am an adult man, it still catches my eyes and gives me 75 minutes of joy.
Just to notify: there isn't any problems with the vase reflection part if you see the other review. After all, if you like warming and adorable movies, this is a must-watch.
